At the Kennedy-Martin-Stelle Farmstead, the farmhouse, wagon house and English barn are significant as early examples of English and modified Dutch framing. The site is also significant for 18^th century associations with Rev. Samuel Kennedy, a distinguished local minister and educator, and his successor Colonel Ephraim Martin, a Revolutionary War leader and major proponent for the passage of the Bill of Rights in the NJ Legislature. The farmstead is now a cultural and recreational center for the township.

The 2010 Trust grant helped fund interior restoration of the farm house and rehabilitation of the barn. The 2004 grant helped make the wagon house, English barn, and farmhouse structurally sound and watertight.
