Historic Site Management Grant
Grant Award: $15,750 (2009)
Grant Recipient: Memorial Presbyterian Church, Wenonah

The Memorial Presbyterian Church of Wenonah was constructed in 1904 in the Gothic Revival style from a design by Philadelphia architect Isaac Pursell.  It replaced an earlier church constructed in 1873.  The land and the cost of construction were donated to the church by Wenonah resident and church Trustee Thomas Synnott as a memorial to his mother.

The grant will help fund the preparation of a National Register nomination and a preservation plan that will guide future repair and preservation efforts for the house of worship.
